Mark 11:1-19

Mark 11:1-19 Jesus Enters Jerusalem Jesus and his disciples reached Bethphage and Bethany near the Mount of Olives. When they were getting close to Jerusalem, Jesus sent two of them on ahead. He told them, "Go into the next village. As soon as you enter it, you will find a young donkey that has never been ridden. Untie the donkey and bring it here. If anyone asks why you are doing that, say, 'The Lord needs it and will soon bring it back.'" The disciples left and found the donkey tied near a door that faced the street. While they were untying it, some of the people standing there asked, "Why are you untying the donkey?" They told them what Jesus had said, and the people let them take it. The disciples led the donkey to Jesus. They put some of their clothes on its back, and Jesus got on. Many people spread clothes on the road, while others went to cut branches from the fields. In front of Jesus and behind him, people went along shouting,...

John 12:1-19

John 12:1-19 At Bethany "Six days before Passover Jesus went back to Bethany, where he had raised Lazarus from death. A meal had been prepared for Jesus. Martha was doing the serving, and Lazarus himself was there. Mary took a very expensive bottle of perfume and poured it on Jesus' feet. She wiped them with her hair, and the sweet smell of the perfume filled the house. A disciple named Judas Iscariot was there. He was the one who was going to betray Jesus, and he asked, "Why wasn't this perfume sold for three hundred silver coins and the money given to the poor?" Judas did not really care about the poor. He asked this because he carried the moneybag and sometimes would steal from it.Jesus replied, "Leave her alone! She has kept this perfume for the day of my burial. You will always have the poor with you, but you won't always have me." A Plot To Kill Lazarus A lot of people came when they heard that Jesus was there. They also wan...

Seek wisdom from the Lord.

Seek wisdom from The Lord If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. Psalm 16:7,8 NASB For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6 God bless you.

Standing Unashamed Before HIM.

Standing Unashamed Before HIM If anyone is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels. I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God." Luke 9:26,27 NIV And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him. 1 John 2:28,29 KJV According to my earnest expectation and hope, that I will not be put to shame in anything, but that with all boldness, Christ will even now, as always, be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. Philippians 1:20,21 NASB Father God, forgive my sins. Thank you for sending Jesus Christ down to die on the cross and for shedding his blood f...

John 11:45-57.

John 11:45-57 (GNT) The Plot against Jesus (Matthew 26.1-5; Mark 14.1,2; Luke 22.1,2) 45Many of the people who had come to visit Mary saw what Jesus did, and they believed in him.46But some of them returned to the Pharisees and told them what Jesus had done.47So the Pharisees and the chief priests met with the Council and said, "What shall we do? Look at all the miracles this man is performing!48If we let him go on in this way, everyone will believe in him, and the Roman authorities will take action and destroy our Temple and our nation!" 49One of them, named Caiaphas, who was High Priest that year, said, "What fools you are!50Don't you realize that it is better for you to have one man die for the people, instead of having the whole nation destroyed?"51Actually, he did not say this of his own accord; rather, as he was High Priest that year, he was prophesying that Jesus was going to die for the Jewish people,52and not only for them, but also ...
