Repentance prayer.

Father God, forgive my sins. Thank you for sending Jesus Christ down to die on the cross and for shedding his blood for me. Three days later you resurrected him. I accept that. I invite Jesus Christ into my heart as my Lord and savior. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

John 8.

John 8 (8:1) but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. (2) Early in the morning he came again to the temple. All the people came to him, and he sat down and taught them. (3) The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery, and placing her in the midst (4) they said to him, "Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery. (5) Now in the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say?" (6) This they said to test him, that they might have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. (7) And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, "Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her." (8) And once more he bent down and wrote on the ground. (9) But when they heard it, they went away one by one, beginning with the older ones, and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him. (10) Jesus stood up and said to her, "Wom

Genesis 35.

Genesis 35 (35:1) God said to Jacob, "Arise, go up to Bethel and dwell there. Make an altar there to the God who appeared to you when you fled from your brother Esau." (2) So Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him, "Put away the foreign gods that are among you and purify yourselves and change your garments. (3) Then let us arise and go up to Bethel, so that I may make there an altar to the God who answers me in the day of my distress and has been with me wherever I have gone." (4) So they gave to Jacob all the foreign gods that they had, and the rings that were in their ears. Jacob hid them under the terebinth tree that was near Shechem. (5) And as they journeyed, a terror from God fell upon the cities that were around them, so that they did not pursue the sons of Jacob. (6) And Jacob came to Luz (that is, Bethel), which is in the land of Canaan, he and all the people who were with him, (7) and there he built an altar and called the place El-bethel

Luke 9:1-17.

Luke 9:1-17 (9:1) And he called the twelve together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases, (2) and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal. (3) And he said to them, "Take nothing for your journey, no staff, nor bag, nor bread, nor money; and do not have two tunics. (4) And whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart. (5) And wherever they do not receive you, when you leave that town shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them." (6) And they departed and went through the villages, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere. (7) Now Herod the tetrarch heard about all that was happening, and he was perplexed, because it was said by some that John had been raised from the dead, (8) by some that Elijah had appeared, and by others that one of the prophets of old had risen. (9) Herod said, "John I beheaded, but who is this about whom I hear such things?" And he sought to see him. (10) O

John 7.

John 7 (7:1) After this Jesus went about in Galilee. He would not go about in Judea, because the Jews were seeking to kill him. (2) Now the Jews' Feast of Booths was at hand. (3) So his brothers said to him, "Leave here and go to Judea, that your disciples also may see the works you are doing. (4) For no one works in secret if he seeks to be known openly. If you do these things, show yourself to the world." (5) For not even his brothers believed in him. (6) Jesus said to them, "My time has not yet come, but your time is always here. (7) The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify about it that its works are evil. (8) You go up to the feast. I am not going up to this feast, for my time has not yet fully come." (9) After saying this, he remained in Galilee. (10) But after his brothers had gone up to the feast, then he also went up, not publicly but in private. (11) The Jews were looking for him at the feast, and saying, "Where is he?" (1

Genesis 34.

Genesis 34 (34:1) Now Dinah the daughter of Leah, whom she had borne to Jacob, went out to see the women of the land. (2) And when Shechem the son of Hamor the Hivite, the prince of the land, saw her, he seized her and lay with her and humiliated her. (3) And his soul was drawn to Dinah the daughter of Jacob. He loved the young woman and spoke tenderly to her. (4) So Shechem spoke to his father Hamor, saying, "Get me this girl for my wife." (5) Now Jacob heard that he had defiled his daughter Dinah. But his sons were with his livestock in the field, so Jacob held his peace until they came. (6) And Hamor the father of Shechem went out to Jacob to speak with him. (7) The sons of Jacob had come in from the field as soon as they heard of it, and the men were indignant and very angry, because he had done an outrageous thing in Israel by lying with Jacob's daughter, for such a thing must not be done. (8) But Hamor spoke with them, saying, "The soul of my son Shechem longs

John 6.

John 6 (6:1) After this Jesus went away to the other side of the Sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tiberias. (2) And a large crowd was following him, because they saw the signs that he was doing on the sick. (3) Jesus went up on the mountain, and there he sat down with his disciples. (4) Now the Passover, the feast of the Jews, was at hand. (5) Lifting up his eyes, then, and seeing that a large crowd was coming toward him, Jesus said to Philip, "Where are we to buy bread, so that these people may eat?" (6) He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do. (7) Philip answered him, "Two hundred denarii would not buy enough bread for each of them to get a little." (8) One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said to him, (9) "There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are they for so many?" (10) Jesus said, "Have the people sit down." Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat dow

Genesis 33.

Genesis 33 (33:1) And Jacob lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, Esau was coming, and four hundred men with him. So he divided the children among Leah and Rachel and the two female servants. (2) And he put the servants with their children in front, then Leah with her children, and Rachel and Joseph last of all. (3) He himself went on before them, bowing himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother. (4) But Esau ran to meet him and embraced him and fell on his neck and kissed him, and they wept. (5) And when Esau lifted up his eyes and saw the women and children, he said, "Who are these with you?" Jacob said, "The children whom God has graciously given your servant." (6) Then the servants drew near, they and their children, and bowed down. (7) Leah likewise and her children drew near and bowed down. And last Joseph and Rachel drew near, and they bowed down. Ephesians 6:10-17.

Ephesians 6:10-17 (10) Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. (11) Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. (12) For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. (13) Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. (14) Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, (15) and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. (16) In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; (17) and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,

John 5.

John 5 (5:1) After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. (2) Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, in Aramaic called Bethesda, which has five roofed colonnades. (3) In these lay a multitude of invalids -- blind, lame, and paralyzed (4) [for an angel of the Lord went down at certain seasons into the pool, and stirred the water: whoever stepped in first after the stirring of the water was healed of whatever disease he had.] (5) One man was there who had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. (6) When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time, he said to him, "Do you want to be healed?" (7) The sick man answered him, "Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going another steps down before me." (8) Jesus said to him, "Get up, take up your bed, and walk." (9) And at once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked. Now that

Genesis 32.

Genesis 32 (32:1) Jacob went on his way, and the angels of God met him. (2) And when Jacob saw them he said, "This is God's camp!" So he called the name of that place Mahanaim. (3) And Jacob sent messengers before him to Esau his brother in the land of Seir, the country of Edom, (4) instructing them, "Thus you shall say to my lord Esau: Thus says your servant Jacob, 'I have sojourned with Laban and stayed until now. (5) I have oxen, donkeys, flocks, male servants, and female servants. I have sent to tell my lord, in order that I may find favor in your sight.'" (6) And the messengers returned to Jacob, saying, "We came to your brother Esau, and he is coming to meet you, and there are four hundred men with him." (7) Then Jacob was greatly afraid and distressed. He divided the people who were with him, and the flocks and herds and camels, into two camps, (8) thinking, "If Esau comes to the one camp and attacks it, then the camp that is left w

Psalm 23.

Psalm 23 (23:1) A Psalm of David. YHWH is my shepherd; I shall not want. (2) He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. (3) He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. (4) Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. (5) You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. (6) Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of YHWH forever.

John 4.

John 4 (4:1) Now when Jesus learned that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples than John (2) (although Jesus himself did not baptize, but only his disciples), (3) he left Judea and departed again for Galilee. (4) And he had to pass through Samaria. (5) So he came to a town of Samaria called Sychar, near the field that Jacob had given to his son Joseph. (6) Jacob's well was there; so Jesus, wearied as he was from his journey, was sitting beside the well. It was about the sixth hour. (7) A woman from Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, "Give me a drink." (8) (For his disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.) (9) The Samaritan woman said to him, "How is it that you, a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a woman of Samaria?" (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.) (10) Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is that is saying to you, 'Give me a drink,' you would have asked him

Genesis 31.

Genesis 31 (31:1) Now Jacob heard that the sons of Laban were saying, "Jacob has taken all that was our father's, and from what was our father's he has gained all this wealth." (2) And Jacob saw that Laban did not regard him with favor as before. (3) Then YHWH said to Jacob, "Return to the land of your fathers and to your kindred, and I will be with you." (4) So Jacob sent and called Rachel and Leah into the field where his flock was (5) and said to them, "I see that your father does not regard me with favor as he did before. But the God of my father has been with me. (6) You know that I have served your father with all my strength, (7) yet your father has cheated me and changed my wages ten times. But God did not permit him to harm me. (8) If he said, 'The spotted shall be your wages,' then all the flock bore spotted; and if he said, 'The striped shall be your wages,' then all the flock bore striped. John 3.

John 3 (3:1) Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. (2) This man came to Jesus by night and said to him, "Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him." (3) Jesus answered him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God." (4) Nicodemus said to him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?" (5) Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. (6) That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. (7) Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.' Genesis 30.

Genesis 30 (30:1) When Rachel saw that she bore Jacob no children, she envied her sister. She said to Jacob, "Give me children, or I shall die!" (2) Jacob's anger was kindled against Rachel, and he said, "Am I in the place of God, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?" (3) Then she said, "Here is my servant Bilhah; go in to her, so that she may give birth on my behalf, that even I may have children through her." (4) So she gave him her servant Bilhah as a wife, and Jacob went in to her. (5) And Bilhah conceived and bore Jacob a son. (6) Then Rachel said, "God has judged me, and has also heard my voice and given me a son." Therefore she called his name Dan. (7) Rachel's servant Bilhah conceived again and bore Jacob a second son. (8) Then Rachel said, "With mighty wrestlings I have wrestled with my sister and have prevailed." So she called his name Naphtali. (9) When Leah saw that she had ceased bearing children, she to

Revelation 1:1-3.

Revelation 1:1-3 (1:1) The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, (2) who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw. John 2.

John 2 (2:1) On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. (2) Jesus also was invited to the wedding with his disciples. (3) When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to him, "They have no wine." (4) And Jesus said to her, "Woman, what does this have to do with me? My hour has not yet come." (5) His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you." (6) Now there were six stone water jars there for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty gallons. (7) Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water." And they filled them up to the brim. (8) And he said to them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the feast." So they took it. (2) As he looked, he saw a well in the field, and behold, three flocks of sheep lying beside it, for out of that well the flocks were watered. The stone on the well's mouth was large, (3) and when all the flocks were gathered there, the shepherds would roll the stone from the mouth of the well and water the sheep, and put the stone back in its place over the mouth of the well. (4) Jacob said to them, "My brothers, where do you come from?" They said, "We are from Haran." (5) He said to them, "Do you know Laban the son of Nahor?" They said, "We know him." (6) He said to them, "Is it well with him?" They said, "It is well; and see, Rachel his daughter is coming with the sheep!" John 1.

John 1 (1:1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (2) He was in the beginning with God. (3) All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. (4) In him was life, and the life was the light of men. (5) The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (6) There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. (7) He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light, that all might believe through him. (8) He was not the light, but came to bear witness about the light. (9) The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world. (10) He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. (11) He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. (12) But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, (13) who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man,

Acts 28.

Acts 28 (28:1) After we were brought safely through, we then learned that the island was called Malta. (2) The native people showed us unusual kindness, for they kindled a fire and welcomed us all, because it had begun to rain and was cold. (3) When Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and put them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat and fastened on his hand. (4) When the native people saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said to one another, "No doubt this man is a murderer. Though he has escaped from the sea, Justice has not allowed him to live." (5) He, however, shook off the creature into the fire and suffered no harm. (6) They were waiting for him to swell up or suddenly fall down dead. But when they had waited a long time and saw no misfortune come to him, they changed their minds and said that he was a god. (7) Now in the neighborhood of that place were lands belonging to the chief man of the island, named Publius, who received us and entertained
