He Lives! Our Hope.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!
In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope
through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an
inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade-- kept in heaven for
you, who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of
the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.
1 Peter 1:3-5 NIV
Hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into
our hearts through the Holy Spirit which has been given to us. While
we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
Romans 5:5-6 RSV
It is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have
strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us. This hope
we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and
one which enters within the veil, where Jesus has entered as a
forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to
the order of Melchizedek.
Hebrews 6:18-20 NASB
Father God, forgive my sins. Thank you for sending Jesus Christ down
to die on the cross and for shedding his blood for me. Three days
later you resurrcted him. I accept that. I invite Jesus Christ into my
heart as my Lord and savior. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
