Matthew 24:7
Jesus said, "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes."
From the proclamation of this statement we see that the world can expect nothing but rivalry and battles until the Antichrist produces the false peace of the tribulation Era.
Famines: Two billion of the world's inhabitants are going to bed hungry every night.
Pestilence is also on the rampage Malaria, West nile virus, etc.
Earthquakes: Men foolishly abserve, "We have always had earthquakes. How can this be a sign?" The Lord Jesus made this proclaimation in around AD 30. From that year he mad this statement until 1959 a total of 5o earthquakes were recorded. Since 1960, however, more than 96 major quakes have jolted the earth. Think of it! 50 major quakes in 1,929 years, and 96 in 45 years.
