Luke 17:11-19.

"Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. Than as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. And the lifted up heir voices and said, 'Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!' So when He saw them, He said to them, 'Go, show yourselves to the priests.' And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan. So Jesus answered and said, 'Were there not ten cleansed? but were are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?' And He said to him, 'Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.'" Father God, forgive my sins. Thank you for sending Jesus Christ down to die on the cross and for shedding his blood for me. Three days later yo...

Psalm 17:1-15.

Psalm 17.1-15 (A prayer by David.) The Prayer of an Innocent Person "I am innocent, Lord! Won't you listen as I pray and beg for help? I am honest! Please hear my prayer. Only you can say that I am innocent, because only your eyes can see the truth. You know my heart, and even during the night you have tested me and found me innocent. I have made up my mind never to tell a lie. I don't do like others. I obey your teachings and am not cruel. I have followed you, without ever stumbling. I pray to you, God, because you will help me. Listen and answer my prayer! Show your wonderful love. Your mighty arm protects those who run to you for safety from their enemies. Protect me as you would your very own eyes; hide me in the shadow of your wings. Don't let my brutal enemies attack from all sides and kill me. They refuse to show mercy, and they keep bragging. They have caught up with me! My enemies are everywhere, eagerly hoping to smear me in the dirt. They a...

Luke 19:1-10.

Luke 19.1-10 Zacchaeus "Jesus was going through Jericho, where a man named Zacchaeus lived. He was in charge of collecting taxes and was very rich. - Jesus was heading his way, and Zacchaeus wanted to see what he was like. But Zacchaeus was a short man and could not see over the crowd. So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree. When Jesus got there, he looked up and said, "Zacchaeus, hurry down! I want to stay with you today." Zacchaeus hurried down and gladly welcomed Jesus. Everyone who saw this started grumbling, "This man Zacchaeus is a sinner! And Jesus is going home to eat with him." Later that day Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, "I will give half of my property to the poor. And I will now pay back four times as much to everyone I have ever cheated." Jesus said to Zacchaeus, "Today you and your family have been saved, because you are a true son of Abraham. The Son of Man came to look for and to save pe...

Luke 6:17-36.

Luke 6.17-36 Jesus Teaches, Preaches, and Heals "Jesus and his apostles went down from the mountain and came to some flat, level ground. Many other disciples were there to meet him. Large crowds of people from all over Judea, Jerusalem, and the coastal cities of Tyre and Sidon were there too. These people had come to listen to Jesus and to be healed of their diseases. All who were troubled by evil spirits were also healed. Everyone was trying to touch Jesus, because power was going out from him and healing them all. Blessings and Troubles Jesus looked at his disciples and said: God will bless you people who are poor. His kingdom belongs to you! God will bless you hungry people. You will have plenty to eat! God will bless you people who are crying. You will laugh! God will bless you when others hate you and won't have anything to do with you. God will bless you when people insult you and say cruel things about you, all because you are a follower of the ...
