2 Peter 1:1-21

To everyone who shares with us in the privilege of believing that our
God and Savior Jesus Christ will do what is just and fair. I pray that
God will be kind to you and will let you live in perfect peace! May
you keep learning more and more about God and our Lord Jesus.
Living as the Lord's Followers
We have everything we need to live a life that pleases God. It was all
given to us by God's own power, when we learned that he had invited us
to share in his wonderful goodness. God made great and marvelous
promises, so that his nature would become part of us. Then we could
escape our evil desires and the corrupt influences of this world. Do
your best to improve your faith. You can do this by adding goodness,
understanding, self-control, patience, devotion to God, concern for
others, and love. If you keep growing in this way, it will show that
what you know about our Lord Jesus...
Mark 14:12-72
Jesus Eats with His Disciples
It was the first day of the Festival of Thin Bread, and the Passover
lambs were being killed. Jesus' disciples asked him, "Where do you
want us to prepare the Passover meal?" Jesus said to two of the
disciples, "Go into the city, where you will meet a man carrying a jar
of water. Follow him, and when he goes into a house, say to the
owner, 'Our teacher wants to know if you have a room where he can eat
the Passover meal with his disciples.' The owner will take you
upstairs and show you a large room furnished and ready for you to use.
Prepare the meal there."
The two disciples went into the city and found everything just as
Jesus had told them. So they prepared the Passover meal. While Jesus
and the twelve disciples were eating together that evening, he said,
"The one who will betray me is now eating with me."This made the
disciples sad, and one after another they said to Jesus, ...
