"The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates; and its water was dried up, so that the way would be prepared for the kings of the east."
2 Peter 1:1-21
"From Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ.
To everyone who shares with us in the privilege of believing that our
God and Savior Jesus Christ will do what is just and fair. I pray that
God will be kind to you and will let you live in perfect peace! May
you keep learning more and more about God and our Lord Jesus.
Living as the Lord's Followers
We have everything we need to live a life that pleases God. It was all
given to us by God's own power, when we learned that he had invited us
to share in his wonderful goodness. God made great and marvelous
promises, so that his nature would become part of us. Then we could
escape our evil desires and the corrupt influences of this world. Do
your best to improve your faith. You can do this by adding goodness,
understanding, self-control, patience, devotion to God, concern for
others, and love. If you keep growing in this way, it will show that
what you know about our Lord Jesus...
John:14.1 "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. John:14.2 "In My Father's house are many mansions; if [it were] not [so,] I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John:14.3 "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, [there] you may be also. John:14.4 "And where I go you know, and the way you know." John:14.5 Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?" John:14.6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John:14.7 " If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him." John:14.8 Philip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us." John:14.9 Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have no...
1 Thessalonians 4.9-18
"We don't have to write you about the need to love each other. God has
taught you to do this, and you already have shown your love for all
of his people in Macedonia. But, my dear friends, we ask you to do
even more. Try your best to live quietly, to mind your own business,
and to work hard, just as we taught you to do. Then you will be
respected by people who are not followers of the Lord, and you won't
have to depend on anyone.
The Lord's Coming
My friends, we want you to understand how it will be for those
followers who have already died. Then you won't grieve over them and
be like people who don't have any hope. We believe that Jesus died
and was raised to life. We also believe that when God brings Jesus
back again, he will bring with him all who had faith in Jesus before
they died. Our Lord Jesus told us that when he comes, we won't go up
to meet him ahead of his followers who have already died. With a l...
